Rule #1: If a new CFO joins and your plan doesn’t change, your framework is fiction.
Rule #2: If nobody can veto you on paper, you’re missing the real map.

  1. Priority Map — Read the board’s letter. Know what they care about this quarter. If your category’s missing, your job isn’t to pitch — it’s to create urgency.

  2. Investment Posture — Expand / Defend / Freeze. If your messaging doesn’t change with posture, you’re marketing to ghosts.

  3. Vendor Terrain — Greenfield / Partial / Fortress. Choose: Replace, Co-exist, or Surround. In a fortress, governance gaps win, not features.

  4. Maturity Ladder (0–3) — Stop demoing to rung 1. Map assets to ascent.

  5. Governance & Constraints — Identify veto points early. Attach proof before you pitch.
