Let's dive into something that's close to every marketer's heart: the B2B buying journey. You might have heard about Gartner's insights from back in 2018, emphasizing the non-linear nature of this journey. But here's the kicker: it's not a straight line. Nope, buyers tend to bounce around these stages like a pinball in a machine, and it's up to us to keep up.

So, how do we do that? Here are some tricks I've picked up along the way:

  • Multi-Channel Approach: Reach buyers through diverse channels, ensuring consistency and mobile optimization.

  • Personalization: Tailor content based on audience segments and data insights, utilizing dynamic and interactive formats.

  • Thought Leadership: Create insightful content, engage with influencers, and stay updated on industry trends.

  • Seamless Interaction: Optimize website UX, implement automation, and integrate cross-channel interactions.

  • Relationship Building: Listen to feedback, provide ongoing value, reward loyalty, and act on feedback.

67% SMEs Don’t Have a Marketing Action Plan

The Marketing Centre's latest report reveals a glaring gap in business and marketing planning among small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Shockingly, 54% lack a documented business plan, while 67% operate without a marketing action plan.

The Marketing and Advertising industry tops the charts in terms of Marketing Maturity, while the IT industry secures the 7th position in the ranking.

This deficiency poses significant risks.
